Calendar questions

How do I add the AML deadlines to my calendar?

Use “Subscribe” to add the feed to Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar. It updates itself when we add or change a date. “Download .ics” adds the current events once.

Why are some dates marked “expected”?

Only some dates are fixed in law. Others come from Companies House, FCA or Home Office plans and can move. Companies House has moved the filing-agent date three times, so we show it as “no earlier than November 2027”.

When must existing directors verify their identity with Companies House?

With the company’s next confirmation statement filed in the transition period, which ends on 17 November 2026. If no statement is filed in that period, the duty moves to the next one.

When does the FCA take over AML supervision?

Not before autumn 2028, according to the FCA, with a phased move likely to finish around 2030. Legislation is expected in 2027/28. Estate agents, letting agents and other HMRC-supervised businesses outside accountancy and TCSPs stay with HMRC.
